GET CAPE, WEAR CAPE, FLY CAPE TOWN TO LONDON

As nations go, South Africa is but a babe. Reborn as the 'rainbow nation' in 1994 with the introduction of the new constitution, it is a country full of the promise and potential that only a fledging country can have. Perhaps nowhere epitomises this better than the capital itself, Cape Town, a buzzing multicultural metropolis growing in strength everyday. Consequently, it is no surprise that the city has been widely compared to Europe's own melting pot London, a city which can be seen as Cape Town's overseas big brother. If you planning on visiting these two cities, finding a peaceful hotel haven is essential in these unique sleepless cities.

Of course, whilst Cape Town might be young, it is already somewhat of a prodigy, naturally gifted by its incredible iconic mountain centrepiece. Table Mountain, set in the very heart of a huge nature reserve surrounding the city, has been providing residents and travellers alike with a lease of life most city visitors cannot fathom. It's no wonder therefore, that many travellers centre their holiday around the mountain which, if you can't find the time to climb, should most certainly be viewed on a daily basis from your prime Cape Town hotel (more info)- and where better than from the magnificent V&A Waterfront. The V&A Waterfront houses a number of establishments, from budget to luxury, yet if money is no option, than the 5-Star Commodore V&A is the only choice. A place exuding luxury and decadence, this harbourside hotel complete with it's own health spa and swimming pool whilst being centrally located close by to all the main attractions as well as being just twenty minutes away from Robben Island by boat.

In fact, if waterside hotels rock your boat, then on a trip to London, staying on the South Bank is essential. Take a spin on the London Eye, take a dinner cruise on the Thames, before spying a play at The National Theatre. For this, and a view of Big-Ben to die for, try the 5-star Marriot County Hall Hotel to keep out of the rain in luxury.
